Betty June Snapp, 82, a resident of Blue Springs, Mo., passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017. She was born June 3, 1935, to Jess and Louise (Cosgrove) Ailor, in Purdin, Mo.
Betty worked several years as a secretary for Missouri Gas Energy. She later worked as a day care provider for Whatsoever Community Center, in Kansas City, Mo.
Betty was a longtime parishioner of St. John Lalande Parish, in Blue Springs.
Survivors include daughter, Cindy Snapp, of Blue Springs; son, John Snapp of Joplin, Mo.; sisters, JoAnn Drye, of Marshfield, Mo., Shirley Hughes, of Jamesport, Mo. She is preceded in death by husband, John Snapp; parents, Jess and Louise Ailor; brother, Dick Ailor.
The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 15, at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 West Main Street, Blue Springs. Graveside service will follow starting at 11:30 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Kansas City, Mo.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorial contributions be made to the Rainbow Center, in Blue Springs.
