Carol Faye Morrison, 71, Neosho, Mo., entered into rest March 10, 2018 after a lengthy illness. She was born Sept. 21, 1946, in Catoosa, Okla., to William and Ina Jane (Fulton) Horton.
A lifelong area resident, Carol worked as an LPN, and then returned to school to become an RN. She worked for the former Sale Hospital, Freeman Neosho, Oxford Healthcare and Granby House. Carol was a member of Bosom Buddies Support Group, was an avid sewer, and loved baking.
She and Richard Thomas Morrison were married on Aug. 21, 1968, in Colorado Springs, Colo. He preceded her in death on April 8, 2014.
Surviving family members include her mother, Jane Horton, of Granby; three children, Karen Judd and husband, Keith, of Neosho, Angela Testerman and husband, Steve, of Seneca, and Brian Morrison, of Neosho; three siblings, Bill Horton, of Neosho, John Horton, of Cassville, and Bella Morris, of Joplin; and three grandchildren, Jesse Judd, Trevor and Jared Testerman.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Neosho.
