Carol was doubly blessed to find love twice. She has shared life with Bill Harris for the past nine years. Bill and Carol enjoyed traveling together, visiting family and friends, and seeing the country.
Carol is survived by her family, daughter, Kim Higdon and husband, Danny, daughter, LeaAnne Mullin and husband, Ryan; granddaughter, Christina Higdon; grandsons, Jeremy Higdon, Bryan Higdon, and Cory Higdon, all of Joplin. Along with nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Shirley Kingrey, of Baxter Springs.

I have known Carol about 80 years of my 85 years of life, and I loved her dearly, and will miss her all the rest of my life, she was a very good friend, and we kept in touch as much as I could. I loved Shirley also, and Bill Harris deserves a crown when he gets to heaven, bless his heart. God Bless all of you, don't grieve for her, but I know how much you will miss her, love to all, Norma Phipps and family
