Charlsie Ann Daugherty, age 74, of Joplin, Mo., passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Charlsie was born on August 7, 1943, in San Francisco, Calif., the daughter of Lawrence and Dora (Woolsey) Pitts. She has been an area resident for many years, moving to the area in 1943.
Charlsie spent her days loving and caring for her family as a homemaker. She was a member of the LifePoint Pentecostal Church, in Joplin.
She married Michael Daugherty on February 7, 2004. He survives.
Additional survivors include two stepsons, Herbert Walker and wife, Falon, of Diamond, Mo., William Jenkins and wife, Angela, of Oronogo, Mo.; two stepdaughters, Melissa Blackburn and husband, Timothy, of Jasper, Mo., Christi Corn and husband, Philip, of Seligman, Mo.; one sister, Mary Smith, of Joplin; her niece, Gina Hendrix, and 10 grandchildren.
Services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, November 3, at LifePoint Pentecostal Church. Burial will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday evening.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
