Christopher "Scott" Rader, 40, of Camillus, N.Y., passed away Thursday at his home.
Scott was born in Neosho, Mo., to Bob and Dee Rader. As a child, Scott worked alongside his father at their farm tending cattle and land. He attended Neosho High School and graduated in 1995. While in high school, he was a talented basketball player. He was a very personable person who strived to please those around him and make others happy.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, Bob Rader, of Neosho.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda; three daughters, Jenna, Samantha, and McKenzi, all of Camillus; mother, Diana "Dee" Rader, of Neosho; sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Chris Engelhoven, of Orlando, Fla., as well as family members in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New York, and Ohio.
A celebration of life for Scott and his father will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Scott's memory to Faithful Friends in Neosho.
