WEST SHOKAN, N.Y. - Christopher E. Roser, of West Shokan, N.Y., died peacefully November 10, 2017 at Kaplan Hospice, Newburgh, N.Y. He was born February 4, 1960, in Queens, son of Edward Roser, and the late Ellen Henriksen Roser.
Chris served in the US Navy from 1979 to 1983, and earned the Meritorious Unit Commendation, Good Conduct Medal, and Cuban Refugee Exercise Award. He was a member of the American Legion Post #1 Albany.
As a trained x-ray technician, he focused on medical imaging throughout his career. Chris' mind was always thinking of new ventures, and has been described as an ambitious entrepreneur.
Surviving, in addition to his father, are his wife Burnelle Howard Roser, a 1989 Joplin High School alumni, daughter Adrianna Roser; sister, Ann Roser; niece, Jessica; and nephew, Giovanni.
Visitation will be Friday, November 17th, 5 to 7 p.m. at the E. B. Gormley Funeral Home, Phoenicia. Burial at the St. Francis de Sales Cemetery.
