Conrad E. Feather


Conrad E. Feather, 57, of Carthage, Mo., passed away May 14, 2018 after a sudden illness. He was the son of Sam and the late Dorothy Feather of Sarcoxie. He was a Sarcoxie High School graduate, class of 1978, and of MSSU. He lived his life in the Sarcoxie/Carthage area.
Conrad was a wonderful husband, son, father, brother, uncle, "great-uncle" and friend to many. He loved sports of all kinds and was an avid Royals fan in the summer and a Chiefs fan in the winter. He loved playing golf and was a Master Gardener. Conrad previously worked a Schreiber Foods for 20 years and Arrow Box Company for the past 20 years. He was a member of the Webb City Elks Lodge, Carthage Men's Golf Association and actively supported several charitable organizations.
Conrad married Peggy Michael on July 10, 1981. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Regie Feather, St. Joseph, Mo., Randy Feather, Vilseck Germany; and father, Sam Feather, Sarcoxie; his brothers, Chris Feather (Debbie) and Curtis Feather (Kathleen), Sarcoxie, and Tony Feather (Jean), Jefferson City, Mo.; sisters, Cynthia Workes (Bill) and Charlotte Pickering (Doug), Sarcoxie; and numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves his beloved and faithful four-legged companions, Tula, Lexi and Nikki. Conrad was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Feather; brother, Carl Feather; niece, Heather Workes; and three nephews. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday May 19, at Ulmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 18, at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Fidelity Cemetery.
