Dana's Story

Dana E. Farrar, 64, Neosho, Mo., entered into rest on September 29, 2017, at her home, following a sudden illness.
Dana was born June 16, 1953, in Bartlett, Kan., the daughter of Daniel H. and Carolle (Cope) Harpool. She graduated from Neosho High School. She was a homemaker and had relocated to Neosho following the Joplin tornado. She enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, and taking care of her grandchildren and all children. She was a Christian.
Dana is survived by three children, Stephanie Carpenter-Ebbinghaus and husband, Justin, of Neosho, Carollea Zimmerman, of Joplin, Mo., and Aaron Farrar, of Carl Junction, Mo.; her mother, Carolle Harpool, of Joplin; one brother, Jeff Harpool, of Webb City, Mo.; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her father; a brother, Douglas Harpool; a sister, Janine Moses; and a son, Patrick Harpool.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 5, at 1 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories.
