Elizabeth Claire Lynch, 24, of Broken Arrow, Okla., formerly of Baxter Springs, Kan., passed from this life on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at St. John Hospital, Tulsa, Okla.
Elizabeth was born November 9, 1992 at the same hospital where she was in the NICU for 63 days. She graduated from Riverton High School, in the class of 2011. She then attended the University of Kansas.
While in Lawrence, she was employed as a receptionist at First Med Clinic. Elizabeth enjoyed reading, writing, history, pets, Democrat politics and performing arts. Before moving to Lawrence she appeared in numerous production with Cherokee County Arts Association with her father.
Elizabeth is survived by her parents, Kent and Dana Lynch; fiancé, Andrew Weaver; grandmothers, Dube Lynch and Ruth Chubb; aunts and uncles, Connie and Bill Gaines, David and Audrey Chubb, Gary Chubb and Bob and Jeannie Moncrief. Other survivors are cousins, John and Tina Gaines, Diana and Victor Sly, Taryn Chubb, Mark Chubb, Kelsey Moncrief and Nick Moncrief, Aaron Neet and Carrie McInturff. She is also survived by "sister cousins", Samantha Beck (husband Josh), Hailey Sly (husband Blake), Jennifer Gaines, and Victoria Sly. Also surviving are her two cats, Ra and Tesla. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Ed Lynch and Bob Chubb; uncle, Keith Lynch; and aunt, Jan Chubb.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, October 21, at the First Christian Church, Baxter Springs. Pastor Bobby Wade will officiate. Floral tributes are welcomed.
