Floralou Carr entered into eternal rest at home, in Fort Myers, Fla., on October 2nd, 2017. A beloved mother and lifelong educator, her positive influence will live on through the lives of her family, friends, and thousands of students.
A retired teacher and principal, in Columbus Ohio, with a passion for children, education, and learning. She was still tutoring her grandchildren and neighbors days before her passing.
Born in Miami, Okla. In 1930, and preceded in death by her parents, Frankie Jarvis Lett and Tom D. Lett, along with her brothers, Kenneth and Don Lett.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff Carr, of Independence, Kan., and Tom Carr, of Fort Myers, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Floralou was an extraordinarily strong, independent and intelligent woman filled with wisdom. She enjoyed a beautiful long journey of 87 years. She loved unconditionally and was loved by many. She will be deeply missed.
