Dale Carrier, 63, Carthage, Mo., passed away Sunday evening, December 17, 2017, at his home.
Herman Dale Carrier was born October 14, 1954, in Marshfield, Mo., to Herman Ray Carrier and Ruth Louise (Rost) Carrier Detherow. He was a graduate of Marshfield High School, Class of 1972, where he served as President of the FFA. Herman earned his B.S. Degree in Animal Husbandry from the University of Missouri and was a member of the Alpha Gama Sigma Fraternity. He owned and operated Carrier Lawn Care for 35 years and was a member of the Carthage Nazarene Church.
Survivors include his mother, Ruth Louise; his wife, Patricia Carrier, Carthage; two daughters, Victoria Winn, Carthage, Jessica Carrier, Hurst, Texas; three sons, Joshua Carrier (wife, Amy), Carl Junction, Mo., Jonathan Carrier (wife, Ana), Hurst, Benjamin Carrier (fiancé, Tiffany), Carthage; three sisters, Judy Rouse (husband, Robert), Houston, Mo., Ruth Coffey (husband, Paul), Bolivar, Mo., Karla Murgel (husband, Kevin), Elkland, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Ariel, Kolby, Gavyn, Dawson, Sierra, Grace, Sophia, Samuel, Elisa; and two great-grandchildren, Trevor and Julian. He is preceded in death by his father, Herman Ray Carrier.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, December 20, at Knell Mortuary. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 21, at the Carthage Nazarene Church, 2000 Grand Ave, Carthage, MO. Rev. Dustin Ledford will officiate. Cremation will take place after the service and inurnment at Fullerton Cemetery will be at a later date.
