I am so very sorry for your loss. I did not have many of the memories that others have expressed here, however, I do remember him as a man of excellent work ethics and integrity. I began my career at Eagle Picher EOM in 1996 when he took over the Geranium Wafer Division. It was one of the greatest highlights of my working career. I was only 19 years old at the time but I looked up to him and admired his hard work and dedication. I accredit many of my successes in life to the work ethics and dedication that I learned from that job and for that, I say thank you. I am a better person for knowing Jim at the capacity that I did. God Bless!

My condolences to the Waugh family. Growing up with Matt and Andy I had the privilege of occasionally spending time around Jim. One of my favorite role models and certainly one of the most genuinely kind-hearted men I have ever met. One of my favorite types of memories of Jim growing up was during sporting activities as a coach/mentor/parent he would never get visibly upset with any of us (even though we most likely deserved it) and was always willing to take the time to mentor/talk to each of us one on one.

My most vivid memory of uncle Jim was uncle Jim and aunt Martha‘s wedding so it’s the end of the wedding and Jim and Martha are leaving to go on their honeymoon and they walk out together hand-in-hand Martha and her beautiful dress Jim and his tux and they get into a Volkswagen and Jim reves the engine up to speed off . The wheels just spun on the Volkswagen because the guys my dad uncle Bob uncle Dick uncle John I think Joe was even involved had put the poor little car up on blocks so wouldn’t go anywhere well Jim got out of the car and I’m Here to tell ya the man’s hair was standing on end and they were all laughing and telling him to just get that back in the car. So they all pu...shed the car off the blocks and Uncle Jim and Aunt Martha raced off down the road. He will be missed. Much love to all of you . Denise TatumRead more

I am so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I have known Jim since I was a little girl. He used to takes trips to Grand Lake with my cousin Rudy and we would all be down there together. They never wanted me tagging along with them. He was such a sweet and kind man. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.🙏
