Jerrie Lynn Butler, age 68, Sarcoxie, Mo., passed away Friday, June 23, 2017, at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, Mo.
Jerrie was born November 20, 1948, in Joplin, daughter of Delores Bybee Davis and the late Carl Davis.
Jerrie worked in the dietary department at St. John's, in Joplin, at Pillsbury, and as a bus driver for the R-8 School district, Head Start, and the Ozark Center.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Davis.
She is survived by her mother; her husband, Michael, whom she married October 5, 1973; one son, Robert Butler and wife, Kelly, of Jacksonville, N.C.; two daughters, Heather Williams and husband, Clint. of Baxter Springs, Kan., and Michelle Butler, Sarcoxie; seven grand children, Zachery Butler, David Coleman, Phillip Miller, Jessica Mays, Jacob Goodman, Maddie Butler, and Haley Fitzjohn; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Bobbie Russell, Joplin; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends that she loved very much.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 29, at 11 a.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Jeff D. Martin, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osborne Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
