JoAnn  Miller


JoAnn Miller, 77, of Baxter Springs, KS, went to be with her Father in Heaven at Freeman Hospital, Sunday, June 16, 2019, with family at her bedside and other family members nearby.
She was born JoAnn Womack, to Roy and Elizabeth Womack on August 31, 1941.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, Urshel L. Miller; her mom, dad, two brothers, two sisters, and one nephew.
JoAnn is survived by four children, Usheila Miller, Virginia Strecker, DeWayne Miller, Rick Miller, and their spouses; one brother, Alford; one sister, Tacy; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two nieces, three nephews, along with their partners; one sister-in-law; and many friends.
JoAnn will be remembered for her total caring attitude as a sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, friend and also as a caregiver to others at local nursing homes, where she had a long-time career. JoAnn was loved by all her family and will be missed.
JoAnn had chosen to be cremated.
Services will be held at Tracy Cemetery, in Anderson, MO, at a later date.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Lung Cancer Foundation.

I had the pleasure of talking with JoAnn while she had been in the hospital previously. My Mom Jan Breuil worked with JoAnn. She was always a kind person. It was so nice to meet you again JoAnn. Say hello to my Momma.
