John Fowler Graham, age 60, Joplin, Mo., passed away at 11:57 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at Freeman Hospital.
John was born April 6, 1957, in Booneville, Mo., to the late Gerald Graham and Nadine Fowler Graham and had lived in the Joplin area most of his life.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by nephew, Richard Schweitzer III.
He graduated from the former Parkwood High School in 1975 and then attended Missouri Southern State College.
John worked in the environmental lab at Eagle Picher for 20 years, and then for seven years with Jackson Brothers as a technician. He enjoyed softball, golf, bowling, and gardening. John was an avid reader and loved a good sci-fi story. He loved spending time with his family and will be missed by all who knew him.
John married Kelly Campbell on May 2, 2002, in Joplin. She survives at the home.
Additional survivors include a son, Jeremiah Graham and fiancé, Lindsay Ware; sister, Gina Graham; grandchildren, Kainen Graham, Jayda Graham; nieces, Kristina Carnes, Nicole Warfield; and brother-in-law, Michael Campbell and wife, Miriam.
John has been taken for cremation. A private committal will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
