Jonathan Eugene Jordan, 38, Neosho, Mo., entered into rest suddenly on June 7, 2018, in Neosho.
Jonathan was born Dec. 23, 1979, in Arlington, Texas, and moved to the Southwest Missouri area in 2005 from Wylie, Texas. He currently worked at Jasper Products as a maintenance mechanic. Jonathan was a gifted mechanic and enjoyed golfing, fishing, cooking and especially grilling.
He is survived by his companion, Casey Goodwin, of the home; six children, Schandera Katilyn Jordan, Chance Eugene Jordan, Joslyn Dawn Jordan, Kiley Jo Hamilton, Keaton Alan Ewing, and Kandon Michael Ewing; his father and stepmother, Buck and Sandy Jordan, of Shelbyville, Texas; his mother, Gretta Whitmore, of Missouri; three sisters, Madison Moritz, of Springfield, Mo., Elaina Jean Jordan and Gina Ruth Jordan, of Channelview, Texas; a brother, Lt. Tyler Irion Whitmore; paternal grandfather, Hartford Eugene Jordan and wife, Blanche; and maternal grandfather, Col. John Witt Irion and wife, Frances. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Patsy Ruth Jordan, and a cousin, Danny Frohne-Jordan.
Visitation services will be Wednesday, June 13, at the Clark Funeral Home from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The family will host a Celebration of Life at the family home on Thursday, June 14, from 2 to 5 p.m.
