Judith "Judy" Ann Ramsay, age 80, of Neosho, Mo., entered into rest on September 6, 2017 at her home, in Neosho, following a lengthy illness.
Judy was born October 20, 1936, in Joplin, Mo., the daughter of Donald and Lucille (Purkett) Timberman. She was a lifelong area resident of Joplin and Neosho and had worked as a surgical nurse at St. John's until retirement. She was a member of the Missouri Nurses Association. She loved to be in her home and being with her family and attending their activities.
Judy and Dr. Walter Hugh Ramsay Jr. were married on Aug. 23, 1959, in Joplin. He survives.
Additional survivors include three children, Craig Ramsay and wife, Penny, of Neosho, Keith Ramsay and wife, Debbie, of Neosho, and Chris Ramsay and wife, Kim, of Shell Knob; nine grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald Edward Timberman.
Memorial services for Judy will be held on Monday, September 11, at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church, in Neosho, Rev. Tom Thorne will officiate.
