Judy Mae Stafford, age 75, of Joplin, Mo., passed away on August 25, 2017 following a short illness. She was born in Granby, Mo. on August 23, 1942, to the late Clifton and Erma Lou Stafford. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stephanie Childs.
Judy loved her children and family, and was fond of spending time with her grandchildren. She possessed a wicked sense of humor and enjoyed making everyone laugh.
She is survived by two sons, Gregory and Clayton Paul; a daughter, Kristy Childs; two sisters, Pat Gregory and Peggy Cole; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Judy's life will be held Thursday, August 31, from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m., at the SMB Community Room located at Zora and Rangeline.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Judy's name to Joplin Health and Rehab are appreciated.
"This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."
