Julie Marie (David) Goebel, age 47, of Overland Park, Kan., went to be with the Lord on August 6, 2017. Julie was born August 15, 1969, in Webb City, Mo., to Laura (Riddle) Ringler and the late Jeff Bedsaul.
She was blessed with three children and eventually seven grandchildren, whom she loved with all her being. She was hard working in many trades, where she made friends everywhere she went. She was a very loving, compassionate, joyous lady all her life and brought happiness to everyone and every occasion. She was ornery and always so fun loving.
On July 7, 2017, Julie married her best friend, Chad Goebel, of Overland Park, Kansas. He survives of the home.
Additional survivors include her daughter, Stephanie David and boyfriend, Ron DeGonia, of Carl Junction, Mo.; her sons, Brice Reavis and wife, Brittany, of Jasper, Mo., and Seth Reavis, of Diamond, Mo.; a stepson, Steven Goebel, of Kansas City, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Rhyli, Lilly, Kenzi, RyLand, Mason, Elicia and Dakota; her two sisters, Mary Barron and husband, Cody, and Lisa VanHoose, all of Webb City; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, step-siblings and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Jeff and Betty Bedsaul; and her step-father, Russell Ringler.
Funeral services, in celebration of Julie's life, are 2 p.m. Friday, August 11, in the chapel of Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary, in Joplin, with Father Justin Monaghan officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Friday in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established and contributions may be left at the mortuary.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary, Joplin, Mo.
