Larry Fay Granger, 70, Proctor Okla., passed away June 24, 2017 at his home. He was born May 31, 1947, in Snohomish, Wash., to Junior Fay and Nancy Lou (Ford) Granger.
Larry counseled veteran's at the VA in South Dakota. He was an avid outdoorsman in which he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Larry enjoyed spending time with his family and helping others.
Larry and Sue (Martin) were married on June 9, 1999; she survives of the home.
Additional survivors include six children, Jerilyn Neal, April Granger, Jennifer Granger, Jerry Barber, Tonja Dauson and Jack Barber; seven grandchildren, Gabriel, Keegan, Ty, Alex, Michael, Staci and Kate; and seven great-grandchildren. Three brothers, Gary Granger and wife, Doris, Randy Granger and wife, Beverly, and Ron Granger and wife, Alisa. One sister, Sandra Eckhart and husband, Larry. Larry is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Patty Barber; a sister, Leonia Gann; a nephew, Andrew Patton; and a niece, Joanna Buckley.
Services will be held Friday, June 30, at 2 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home, in Granby, Mo., with Pastor Phil Barber officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery. Full military honors will be provided. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Friday prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
