Marilyn J. Sisco, age 59, of Oronogo, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at Mercy Hospital, in Joplin, Mo., following an illness.
Marilyn was born on Oct. 11, 1958, in Denver, Colo., the daughter of Warren and Helen (Paige) Feurt. She has been a long-time area resident, Marilyn spent her days loving and caring for her family as a homemaker. She was a member of the Carterville First Baptist Church. She enjoyed going fishing and gardening.
She married Randy Sisco on May 30, 1980. He survives.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Miranda Wintheiser and husband, Jon, of Kasson, Minn.; two brothers, Steven Feurt, of Joplin. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ross Feurt.
A memorial service has been scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, at the Carterville First Baptist Church. Pastor Darren Wallace, will officiate. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation prior to the start of the service, starting at 10 a.m. Friday.
The family has requested that contributions be given to Carterville First Baptist Church, in care of the mortuary.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
