Jane, age 79, Joplin, Mo., passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at home with her four daughters at her side.
Jane was born on October 31, 1939, in Spivey, Kan., to Charles William Nirschl and Helen Rose (Nirschl) House.
She retired from Eagle Picher after 30 years. In her spare time, Jane enjoyed making puzzles, reading, golfing and spending time with her family, friends and especially her grandkids.
Jane had a strong faith in God which guided her entire life. She attended First Christian Church, Baxter Springs, Kan., and Park Plaza Christian Church, Joplin, Mo.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband, also at age 79, Lyle Myers, on March 14, 2012.
She is survived by her four daughters: Becky Beasley and Henry, Kari Hamilton, Traci Simmons and Harold R., and Jan McCollum and Mike. Brothers: Bob Nirschl, Jerry Nirschl; and sisters: Shirley Born, Joyce Bennett, Judy Shaver, Vicki Bailey, Debbie Wright and families. Together they had 21 grandkids: Rachel Beasley, Brittany Chadwell, Brooke Seiger, Colton Simmons, Tate Simmons, Harold E. Simmons, Heather Jennings, Preston Gibbs, Quincy Garner, Macie Gibbs, Heather Waltz, Lacey Myers, Jennifer Earp, Ashley Campbell, Courtney Rector, Leslie Barton, Jared Tunnell, Natalie Zanatta; and 25 great-grand kids and at least one on the way.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and siblings, Betty Nirschl and Ted Nirschl.
FAMILY VISITATION: Friday, March 15, 2019 from 6 - 8 p.m., First Christian Church, 3020 Roberts Road, Baxter Springs, KS, 66713
FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday, March 16, 2019, at 11 a.m., First Christian Church, 3020 Roberts Road, Baxter Springs, KS, 66713
LAID TO REST: Baxter Springs Cemetery
