Neva Williams, 92, passed away April 27, 2017 in Kansas City, Mo.
Neva was born March 1, 1925 in Reeds, Mo. to William Poulson and Rachel "Patton" Poulson. She was a lifetime resident of Carthage, homemaker, a member of the Salvation Army Church in Carthage and active in the Salvation Army.
Neva was united in marriage to L. D. Williams April 1, 1942, in Carthage. He preceded her in death April 29, 1982.
Neva is survived by two sons, Robert Williams and wife, Sharon Kay, of Raytown, Mo., and George Williams and wife, Kay, of Hope, Va.; one daughter-in-law, Jean Williams; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Neva is preceded in death by one son, Clifford Williams, and 12 brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 2, at Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m., Monday, May 1, at Ulmer Funeral Home.
Contributions may be made out to the Salvation Army, in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home.
