Norma Jean Cossey, 81, of Carthage, Mo., passed away March 27, 2017, at her home.
She was born October 31, 1935, in Alba, Mo., to Dan and Sylvia (Hairl) Smith. Norma was a homemaker, loved family camping trips, and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. She graduated from Alba High School and was a member of the Alba Christian Church.
Norma was united in marriage to Paul Cossey on February 28, 1953. He survives of the home.
Other Survivors include two sons, Randy K. Cossey (Pam) and Terry Cossey (Teresa); three daughters, Debbie Lee (Gary), Linda Epperson (Rob), and Kelly Lee (Brent); nine grandchildren, Gary Wayne Lee, Randy A. Cossey, Katie Jackson, Dusty Epperson, Carly Webster, Chance Lee, Chelsey Lee, Dalton Cossey, and Taylor Cossey; ten great-grandchildren, Samantha Lee, Kierra Lee, Case Cossey, Brody Jackson, Ashlynn Jackson, Carl Epperson, Abbi Hass, Zoiee Lee, Halee Lee, and Waylon Lee.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 1, at Fairview Friends Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, March 31, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, Mo.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Fairview Friends Cemetery in care of the funeral chapel.
