Opal "Pauline" Chapman, 88, of Knoxville, Tenn., went to be with her heavenly Father on Friday, August 18, 2018.
Pauline was born in Dennis, Kan., to Ben and Mae (Lusk) Myers on July 1, 1929.
On August 17, 1947, Pauline married Raymond Chapman and they later moved to Joplin, Mo., where they lived for over 50 years.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling and church work.
Pauline is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Raymond Chapman; daughter, Brenda (Dr. Paul) Dittmann, of Knoxville; five grandchildren, Dr. Randy (Renee) Mills, Rev. Greg (Amber) Mills, David (Dr. Shannon) Dittmann, Dr. Katherine Dittmann, and Melissa (Sean) Tracey; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a beloved daughter, Linda Mills, of Joplin, and her sister, Alice Beck, of Parsons, Kan.
