Phillip's Story

Phillip H. Williams Sr., 82, of Webb City, Mo., passed away on June 13, 2017, following an illness. Phillip was born on January 31, 1935, in Pierce City, Mo., the son of the late Fred and Ivy (Mitchell) Williams.
He married Lillian Buchanan on March 22, 1953, in Carl Junction, Mo.
For twenty-seven years he owned and operated Williams Garage and Wrecker Service. He was a member of Central Christian Center and active in the bus ministry.
Phillip was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian; his son, Phillip Jr.; four brothers, and three sisters.
He is survived by four daughters, Betsy Lee and husband, Bob, Joplin, Carol Rader and her husband, Gary, Phyllis Booth and her husband, Amos, Webb City, and Brittney Williams, Webb City; 15 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Pastor Doug Wilkerson and Paul Bayless will officiate. Burial will be in Waco Cemetery, Waco, Mo. The family will receive friends 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.
Contributions may be made to Central Christian Center Youth Camp, in care of the mortuary.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
