Phyllis Ann Currey


Phyllis Ann Currey (Hoffman) lost her race against Parkinson's, on August 15, 2019, at the age of 73. Phyllis was born August 22, 1945.
She was known for her humorous demeanor, her passion for racing, and love for her family and friends. Phyllis drove in the Powder Puff races at the Joplin Speedway from 1993-1995.
Phyllis Currey is survived by her sister, Sandy Mock; brother, Ronald Hoffman; sons, Christopher and Brian Currey; and six grandchildren, Jasmine, Gavin, Derrick, Alex, Madison and Brookelyn.
Services will be held at Spring River Christian Village on August 22 at 3:30 p.m.
