Raymond H. Chapman, 90, of Knoxville, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 21, 2018. Raymond was born in Parsons, Kansas, on March 5, 1927, to Robert and Edith (Tackett) Chapman. He proudly served in the Navy during World War II. He spent his career as a national cheese sales manager. Raymond was a devout Christian and totally devoted to his family. He also enjoyed traveling, loved to talk and always had a joke for everyone he met. Raymond was married to Pauline Myers Chapman for 70 years, and they lived in Joplin, Missouri for more than 50 years. Pauline preceded him in death on August, 18, 2017. Raymond was also preceded in death by a beloved daughter, Linda Mills, sister, Doris Leck, and two brothers, Bill Chapman and George Chapman. Raymond is survived by a daughter, Brenda (Dr. Paul) Dittmann of Knoxville; 5 grandchildren, Dr. Randy (Renee) Mills, Rev. Greg (Amber) Mills, David (Dr. Shannon) Dittmann, Dr. Katherine Dittmann, and Melissa (Sean) Tracey; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Scott.
