Robert's Story

Robert Leon Fryer was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.
Survived by wife, Christine L. Fryer, of Joplin, Mo., and six children, John Robert Fryer, of Lamasa, Texas, Jolene M. Fryer, of Joplin, Amber R. Tramontana, of Lake Como, N.J., Sandy Markus, of Lubbock, Texas, Adam J. Anderson, of Ely, Nev., Julie Murphy, of Neosho, Mo. Proceeded into death by father, mother, two brothers, and two sons, John Neil Davis and Allen James Fryer.
Robert grew up in Los Angeles, Calif., where he spent his childhood. Then, he joined the Navy from 1954 to 1955. After coming home, he later moved with his family to Houston, Texas in 1972. Then, he worked as a brick and marble mason. Then in 1983, Robert and his family moved to Aurora, Mo. He worked as a supervisor at Efco Inc., in Monett, Mo. Then in 1994, when he retired, he and his wife Christine, moved to Las Vegas, Nev., where they lived until 2005 and Christine retired so they moved to Ely, Nev., and lived there until 2013. They moved back to Joplin, Mo., where they have lived until Robert proceeded into death.
You will be missed very much, but will always be in our hearts as you touched so many.
