Shawndra Dawn (Davis) Martin

May 01, 1964 - July 25, 2018

Shawndra Dawn (Davis) Martin was born May 1, 1964, in Sacramento, Calif., and was raised in Joplin, Mo. Shawndra went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2018, in Berwyn, Ill.
Shawndra was an explorer of God's creations and loved the outdoors. She had canoed 32 different waterways and was a true hippie chick.
Fearless, loving and always putting others first. She loved her family, her friends, life and the Lord unconditionally.
Shawndra is survived by her parents, Paul and Carol Cooper, of Joplin. Her two daughters, Megan and L'Erin; son-in-law, Robert. Her four grandchildren, Bryceton, Kaydynce, Isabella and Chandler. Her two brothers, Aaron and Troy. Her two sisters, Tonya and Ralynn; and her countless cousins, family and friends.
A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, August 18, at 2 p.m. at 7356 Coyote Drive, Seneca, Mo. All family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate Shawndra's life with us, the way she would have wanted! PEACE, LOVE AND HIPPIE HUGS! Bring out your hippie wear, bright, tye dye and floral!
We will always carry your memory in our hearts!

I am so sorry for the loss. She would stop by the store and we would have a few giggles. She always had a smile and made me laugh. I will miss her Facebook posts and the pictures of the grandbabies. Her daughters were very lucky to have a mom with such a free and amazing spirit and she will be with them forever.

You are my bestfriend, roommate, sister anyone could ever have we always had the best times together,,I will never forget my 23rd birthday party you threw for me you got me a stripper and even though he was gay I was so embarrassed I remember I had a red and black leopard shirt on and you had him set me out in middle of dance floor in front of all these people and my face was as red as my shirt and you took pics of it I wish I still had them now but when it was over I looked up and my oldest brother was there watching me and laughing his ass off at me. Will never forget that. I had a blast though. Love ya girl always. We were hellions back then.
