Stephen Glover Stephen Roy Glover, 74, born in Rogers, Ark., on August 19, 1944, to Lorene and Toney, passed from this life on February 25, 2019.
He is the grandson of Tim and Ruth and Huebert and Oley. He is the brother of Jerry and Barbara, of Carl Junction, and Richard, of Joplin. His family lived in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri.
He served his country in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany and in Vietnam. He received a Purple Heart and an honorable discharge.
Stephen worked in heavy machinery, the postal service and law enforcement. His first job was with the old Electric Bakery, in Joplin, back in the '60s. He loved reading and vintage cars.
He is the father of Stevie, Lori, Lisa and Toney Ray. He is a cousin, grandfather, uncle and friend.
His devoted wife of over 35 years, Mary, 71, also joined him in passing one week later, after a sudden illness. We love and miss them both.
May peace be with them on their next journey.
