Wanda Lee Putnam, age 83, of Webb City, Mo., passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Mercy Hospital, in Joplin, Mo., following an illness.
Wanda was born on August 8, 1934, in Batesville, Ark., the daughter of W.C. and Elsie (Cowden) Loggains. She has been an area resident for many years. Wanda worked in dietary at Spring River Christian Village, retiring in 1993. She was a member of the Spring City Church of Christ.
She married Archie Putnam on March 6, 1958, in Miami, Okla. He preceded her in death in 1989.
Survivors include two sisters, Joyce Vann, of Carl Junction, Mo., Glenda Felts and husband, Tom, of Riverton, Kan.; three brothers, Sonny Loggains and wife, Ann, of Webb City, Billy Hardcastle and wife, Arlene, of Webb City, Ed Hardcastle, of Joplin; and several nieces and nephews.
Services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Burial will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery, in Joplin. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation prior to the service starting at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
