Willa Newcomb, age 85, of Joplin, Mo., passed
away Monday, May 1, 2017, at home.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Homer Newcomb. The loving couple was married for 60 years.
Surviving are their three children and their spouses, Jerry (Jeannie) Newcomb, Janice (Tim) Henderson, and Mike (Donna) Newcomb. Also surviving are her two sisters, Betty Lou Martin and Neta (JC) Davison; and two brothers-in-law, Paul (Armenta) Newcomb and Charles Newcomb; and one sister-in-law, Linda Barker. The couple were also blessed with seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Homer and Willa enjoyed spending time with their family, traveling in their RV, and Square Dancing. They were both members of Southside Baptist Church.
The family request that any contributions made go to Southside Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 4, from 4 to 5 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church, of Joplin, and services are to follow.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park Crematory, Joplin.
