Dale Richard Parrigon, 60, of Pierce City, Mo., went to be with his Lord in Heaven on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Cox Monett Hospital in Monett, Mo.
He was born on April 24, 1956, in Monett, the son of the late Leo and Joyce (Williams) Parrigon.
He was united in marriage on June 7, 1980, in Pierce City, to Bonnie Copening; she survives.
He was an employee of Well Hydro Aluminum in Monett and a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pierce City.
Dale is survived by his wife, Bonnie, of the home; one son, Bret Parrigon and his wife, Sarah, of St. Louis, Mo.; one daughter, Jill Schneider and her husband, Nate, of Rogers, Ark.; five brothers, Neil Parrigon and his wife, Bobbi, of Pierce City, Tommy Parrigon, of Monett, Vincent Parrigon, of Pierce City, Wendell Parrigon and his wife, Sherryl, of Pierce City, and Kevin Parrigon and his wife, Samatha, of Pierce City; three sisters, Maria Logan and her husband, Mike, of Republic, Mo., Charlotte Sloan and her husband, Doug, of Pierce City, and Melissa Ballay and her husband, Randy, of Monett; and two grandchildren, Leo and Jack Schneider. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Joyce; two brothers, Larry and Mark Parrigon; and one grandson, Baby Schneider.
Rosary for Dale is being held on Friday March 3, at 6 p.m. at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pierce City with visitation to follow Rosary until 8 p.m. Funeral Mass is being held on Saturday March 4, at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pierce City with Father Peter Morciniec officiating. Burial will follow services at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Pierce City.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Mary's Catholic Church or the St. Mary Cemetery Fund.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
