Etta Belle Pendergraft went to be with her Lord on Monday, May 29, 2017, surrounded by her family.
She was a homemaker, mother, wife, and precious friend to many. She attended Salem Country Church, Red Oak II, in Carthage, Mo. Etta Belle was born on December 23, 1930, to Lloyd and Opal (Lough) Mason, in Medoc, Mo. Preceding her in death were her parents, a sister and two brothers.
She married Eldon Pendergraft on July 20, 1947; he preceded her in death on February 19, 2012, after 64 ½ years of marriage.
Surviving are a son, Marvin Pendergraft and wife, Lana, of Chanute, Kan., a daughter, Jane Clark and husband, Don, of Stark City, a son, Jerry Pendergraft and wife, Bonnie, of Springfield, Mo.; and a brother, Harold Mason, of Nashville, Mo. Etta Belle has 11 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 1, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Simpson Funeral Home, in Webb City, with Tim Darch officiating. The family will be present for visitation on Thursday at the funeral home from 1 p.m. to the time of the service. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
