Evelyn Elleman, 88, of Baxter Springs, Kan., went to rest Wednesday, March 1, 2017.
She was born September 8, 1928, near Verona, Mo., to Chris and Hazel Bacher.
Evelyn married John Asher and had three children, Jean, Bill, and Donna.
She moved to Baxter Springs when she married Don Elleman in 1961.
Evelyn was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Her memorial service is to be on Saturday, March 18, at 1:30 p.m. at the Baxter Springs Kingdom Hall, 2525 E. 12th Street, with Curt Edens officiating.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Don; her daughter, Donna; and her granddaughter, Leah (Deerberg) Woolen, husband Brad.
Evelyn is survived by her brother, Kenneth Bacher, wife Jody; her children, Jean Deerberg and Bill Asher; her five grandchildren, Tony Deerberg, wife Carlyn, Chad Deerberg, wife Tara, Rachel Oney, husband Ty, Chemeyne Myers, husband Kenny, and Christine Asher; her eight great-grandchildren, Evan, Denver, and Carson Deerberg, Makenna and Taylor Deerberg, Chavella Santiago, Caybren Marez, and Calilezhe Rodriguez, husband Manny; her one great-great-grandchild, Amani Santiago.
