Frank Theodore Evers, 85, Neosho, Mo., passed away peacefully on February 11, 2017, at the Granby House.
He was born June 30, 1931, in Meta, Mo., the son of Joseph and Catherine (Herigon) Evers. Frank served in the U.S. Air Force and retired after 26 years of service. He moved to Neosho in 1978 from Omaha, Neb., and had been the owner and operator of Frank's Hydrostatic Testing. He was a member of St. Canera Catholic Church.
Frank married Marilyn Spieker on September 18, 1954, in Jefferson City, Mo., and she preceded him in death on July 10, 2007.
He is survived by four children, Paul Evers of Terrell, Texas, Mark Evers, of Scurry, Texas, Pamela Ragan, of Eldorado Springs, Mo., and Diana Hamilton, of Neosho; one brother, Joseph Evers, of Jefferson City; one sister, Marie Barnett, of Valley Park, Mo.; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, and dear friend, Lois Nycz, of Neosho. In addition to his wife, Frank is preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Canera Catholic Church with Rev. Derek Swanson, C.M. officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Mo.
