Jimmy Keton Littlefield, 83, Neosho, Mo., went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 17, 2017, surrounded by his family at Medicalodge in Neosho, following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's,
He was born August 14, 1933, in Shattuck, Okla. to Keton and Leta Mae (Thrush) Littlefield. Jimmy was a lifelong area resident. He served in the U.S. Army and later worked as a Tool and Die maker. Jimmy was a former Fire Chief for the Neosho Fire Department from 1966 to 1968; he was the Chief when the Big Spring Inn burned. He was a charter member of Diamond Wesleyan Holiness Alliance.
Jimmy married Barbara (Dodson) Littlefield on June 16, 1957, in Carthage, Mo. She preceded him in death on June 8, 2013.
He is survived by his children, Cherri Miller and husband, Steve, of Neosho, Kent Littlefield of Neosho; five grandchildren, David and (Jessie) Littlefield, Kyler Littlefield, Mindy and (Zach) Johnson, Laurin Miller and Hannah and (Wade) Gordon. Jimmy was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Littlefield, and sister, Margie Tucker.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 25, at 10 a.m. at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Full Military Honors and Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery, south of Stella, Mo. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday evening at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
