Leah M. Breeze, 93, Carthage, Mo., passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017, at St. Luke's Nursing Center, Carthage.
Leah Marcella Fagg was born October 10, 1923, in Avilla, Mo., a daughter of the late Homer A. Fagg and Barbara A. Baker Fagg. She was a graduate of Carthage Senior High School, Class of 1942.
She married Harold Lee Breeze on February 1, 1942; he preceded her in death on April 7, 2003.
Leah worked her entire life as a partner on the farm with her husband, Harold. She was a longtime member of First Christian Church of Carthage and had attended College Heights Christian Church in Joplin, Mo., for the last 13 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Karen Lee (Larry) Catron, Carthage; grandson, Kyle (Kerry) Catron, Carthage; granddaughter, Allyson (Brandon) Helms, Carthage; and three great grandchildren, Courtney Catron, Derrick Catron, and Evan Helms. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Karrie Dee Catron, 1973; her sister, Madge Cadwell; and four brothers, Leo, Lloyd, Bob, and Max Fagg.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, February 27, at Knell Mortuary, Carthage. Minister Rick Bushnell, College Heights Christian Church, Joplin, will officiate. Interment will be in Park Cemetery, Carthage.
Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Knell Mortuary.
