Marianne Hess, 37, Carthage, Mo., passed away at her home after a lengthy illness.
Marianne Terry was born June 30, 1980, in Springfield, Mo., the daughter of the late David Terry and Patricia Essary Terry. She was a graduate of Fair Grove High School, Fair Grove, Mo., and received her BA degree in accounting/finance from MSSC, Joplin, Mo. Marianne was an accountant for Leggett & Platt, Branch 1, Carthage for 10 years.
She married Zach Hess on September 16, 2006, in Eureka Springs, Ark. He survives.
Additional survivors include two sons, Samuel and Owen Hess, of the home; and very special friends, Bethany Kitzko, Makakilo, Hawaii, and Nancy Brake, Springfield.
Visitation will be held from 6 - 7 p.m., Thursday, August 3, at the First United Methodist Church, 617 South Main Street, Carthage. Memorial services will follow at 7 p.m. at the church. Rev. Ben Bainbridge will officiate. Private family inurnment will follow at a later date.
