Mary Louise Pugh, of Miami, Okla., passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017, she was 88.
Mary was born April 8, 1929, in Jasper County, Mo., to Ora and Lettie (Turpin) Harry. She had lived in Miami since 1957. She graduated from Carl Junction (Mo.) High School in 1947, and had worked at Citizens Bank of Carl Junction for nine years and for McDonald's, in Miami, Okla., and was a volunteer at Integris Miami Hospital. She was a member of the Southern Hills Baptist Church, in Miami.
Mary was preceded in death by her son, Charles Dale Pugh, in 2014; a grandson, Daniel Pugh; her parents; and a brother, Cecil Harry.
Mary married Delmar Pugh July 20, 1956, and he survives of the home.
Additional survivors include her son, Bradley K. Pugh and wife, Kristine, of Broughton, Ill.; and her daughter, Julie Louise Mustain and husband, Rex, of Overland Park, Kan.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 24, at 2 p.m. at the Southern Hills Baptist Church, in Miami. Rev. Herb Young will officiate. Interment will be in Nashville Cemetery, in Barton County, Mo. Pallbearers will be Rex Mustain, Ryan Mustain, Chris Pugh, Kyle Pugh, Mike Lillie and Hunter Walton. Honorary pallbearers will be men of Southern Hills Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday prior to service at the church.
Services have been placed in the care of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service, of Miami.
