Patricia Ann Daugherty, age 66, of Joplin, Mo., entered into rest on August 16, 2017 from injuries in a one vehicle accident, north of Neosho.
Patricia was born June 23, 1951, in Quincy, Ill., the daughter of William J. and Frances (Cline) Daugherty. She lived most of her life in the southwest Missouri area and was a graduate of Parkwood High School, in Joplin.
She currently worked as a LPN for Ozark Center, having worked there the last 25 years. Prior to her association with Ozark Center, she worked at Oak Hill Hospital, in Joplin. Patricia was the 'favorite' aunt of a large extended family and a member of the Generations Freewill Baptist Church.
Patricia is survived by a son, Shawn Daugherty, of Joplin; a sister, Sharee Woods and husband, Pat, of Aurora; two brothers, Mike Daugherty and wife, Charlsea, of Joplin, and Bill Daugherty and wife, Paulette, of Neosho; one brother-in-law, Doug Kyler and wife, Carol, of Grove, Okla.; two grandchildren, Christian Tackett and Brayden Tackett, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved companion, Raylan She is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Misti Testerman Tackett, in October 2015; and a sister, Cathleen Kyler.
Funeral services for Patricia will be held on Saturday, August 19, at 1 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Chaplain Jerald Bass will officiate. Interment will follow in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery, Joplin. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
