Paul J. Gollhofer, age 85, passed away Sunday,
May 14, 2017. He was born in Sarcoxie, Mo., on September 29, 1931, to Victor and Mary Isabel Gollhofer.
Paul married Mary C. Robinson on October 14, 1950, in Carthage Mo.
He served in the United States Army from 1952-53, stationed in Alaska. Paul retired from Wal-Mart, in 1994, and was a member of the First Baptist Church, in Webb City, Mo.
Paul is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter, Pamela Willard (Mark); son, Stephen (Pam); granddaughters, Alison Dueker (Dan), Hilary Wheeler (Nick); grandsons, Seth Gollhofer (Amy), Drew Gollhofer (Karla); great-grandchildren, Ben and Jack Wheeler, Erik Dueker, Norah Gollhofer, Isabel Gollhofer and Bryson Hoffman. One brother, Ray Gollhofer (Frankie). He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Richard, Roy, and James; sisters, Elizabeth and Ada.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday, May 18, at the Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home, in Webb City, with Bro. Bob Easton officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will follow in the Sarcoxie Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday morning at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Memorials are being directed to the Sarcoxie Cemetery Care Fund, in care of the funeral home.
