Billy Lee Choate, 71, of Webb City, Missouri, passed away on July 9, 2025. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Billy was a devoted father to Shannah Cassatt, Rebecca Spasic, and Nolan Choate; loving Papa to eleven grandchildren—Tannah, Lannah, Zannah, Dannah, Brittany, Kaylin, Aubree, Trace, Kennedy, Wyatt, and Connor—and great-grandchildren Hagen, Grace, and Haven. An active member of The Sheep Shed Church and a devoted father, grandfather, and friend, Billy will be remembered for his quiet strength and deep love for family.

A celebration of life will be held at Parker Mortuary Chapel in Joplin, MO. At 2:00 p.m. Visitation at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Carl Junction, MO.
