David Weathermon
David Leo Weathermon, age 68, of Verona, MO, passed away at 6:21 a.m. on Sunday, November 17, 2019, at his home. He was born July 31, 1951, in Lamar, MO, the son of Lawrence and Lula Nadene (Mayfield) Weathermon.
David was a 1970 graduate of Verona High School and was a United States Marine Corps veteran, serving from February 28, 1973 until January 28, 1979. He worked for Sunbeam Products, in Neosho, MO, for 18 years. He was a supervisor for the Daisy Manufacturing Company, in Neosho, for 12 years and worked for Agile Chicken, in Anderson, MO, for three years.
David is survived by his son, Shawn Weathermon and his wife, Marissa, of Beggs, OK; his mother, Nadine Sanders, of Verona; one brother, Mike Weathermon and his wife, Kathy, of Aurora, MO; three sisters, Judy Crawford and Connie Gibson, both of Verona, and Diane Meyers, of Omaha, NE; and several nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence; and one grandson, Raylan Weathermon.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 25, at the Spring River Cemetery, in Verona.
