Greenfield, Missouri - Everett 'Dale' Jennings, 93, Greenfield, MO, died on January 13, 2024. Dale Jennings was born August 7, 1930, in Visalia, Calif., to John Jennings and Floy Runyon Jennings. He married Vesta M. Hurt on December 1, 1951, in Greenfield, MO. Dale was a veteran, serving his country with the United States Army during the Korean War as a Sargent First Class. He was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church in Greenfield, MO, where he was a treasurer for many years. He retired from Hussman Inc. in Oklahoma City, OK, and returned to Greenfield where he served as the city Mayor for two terms.

Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Franklin and her husband Ron, of Carthage, MO; three sons, Gary D. Jennings and his wife Cathi, Mobile, AL, Terry L. Jennings and his wife Stacey, Edmond, OK, and Michael K. Jennings and his wife Kathryn, Edmond, OK; a brother, Joe Jennings and his wife Janice, Willard, MO; twelve grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death is his wife of 62 years, Vesta Mae (Hurt) Jennings; two sisters, Cleo Richter, and Joyce Butler; and two brothers; John and Glenn Jennings.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, January 20th, at the Main Street Baptist Church with Minister Ron Franklin officiating. The burial will be in Greenfield Cemetery, Greenfield, MO. Visitation will be held from 1 pm to 2 pm, January 20th at the Main Street Baptist Church. Memorial gifts in honor of Mr. Jennings may be made to Main Street Baptist Church in care of Knell Mortuary.
