Jimmy  Fry
Jimmy Ray Fry, of Quapaw, Okla., passed from this life on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at Mercy Hospital, in Joplin, Mo. He was 71.
Jimmy was born January 1, 1947, in Treece, Kan., to George Wyley and Geneva Pearl (Barr) Fry. He had lived in the Quapaw area for 38 years. He graduated from Columbus (Kan.) High School in 1965.
Jimmy worked at FAG Bearing, in Joplin, Mo., as a quality control inspector. He served six years with Oklahoma National Guard. He was a member of Faith Assembly of God, in Wyandotte, Okla.
Jimmy married Kathy Marie Goodnight on April 3, 1980.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Jarrod Spears; and a son-in-law, Kevin M. Morrow.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Kathy Fry, of the home; two sons, Nick Fry and wife, Heather, of Quapaw, and Jimmy Ray Fry Jr., of Neosho, Mo,; two daughters, Rayanna O'Neil and husband, Steve, of Quapaw, and Jana Myers and husband, Robert, of Riverton, Kan.; two brothers, Danny Fry, of St. Louis, Mo., and Richard Fry, of Miami, Okla.; two sisters, Sharon Hames, of Commerce, Okla., and Gloria Luna, of Houston, Texas; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his special companion, Sarge.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, December 10, at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel, in Miami, with Rev. Gary Rhoades officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, northwest of Treece, with Nick Fry, Richard Dutton, Kevin Morrow, Max Morrow, Christian Myers and Arno Graves serving as pallbearers. Logan Lanning will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Military honors will be conducted by the Grove Veterans Ritual Team. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3-5 p.m. at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel, in Miami.
Services have been placed in the care of Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service, of Miami.

Rest In Peace my brother . Jimmy Ray was one heck of a sportsman, he loved to fish hunt and spend time with his family
