Diamond, MO - Joshua Eugene Kissel, 42, of Diamond, Missouri, entered into rest on October 24, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri. Joshua was born December 26, 1982, in Carthage, Missouri. He was a lifelong area resident. He spent his younger years in Diamond and attended school in Neosho. He graduated from Neosho High School in 2001. Coming from a musical family, it was no surprise that Joshua became a sound engineer. He and his brother, Chris, spent several years in a local cover band. Chris would play and sing while Joshua would run the sound system. After Chris' death in 2018, Joshua continued to run sound for several other local bands.

He is preceded in death by his Mother Carolyn Kissel of Diamond, Brother Christopher Kissel, paternal grandparents, Charles and Lavon Kissel, maternal grandparents, Bill and Pansy Baker; and two uncles, Robert E. Kissel and Kendall Baker.
Services are under the personal care and direction of Clark Funeral Homes.
