Oronogo, MO - June Lea Woolsey (Holloway), age 86, of Oronogo, Missouri, passed away on September 28, 2025, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin surrounded by family.

She was born on June 19, 1939, in Goodman, Missouri, to Elmer and Ellen Holloway and remained a lifelong resident of the community she loved. A devoted member of Christ Church of Oronogo, June lived her life with faith, family, and service at the center.

On February 19, 1955, she married the love of her life, Bradford Woolsey, in Webb City. Together they shared 66 years of marriage before his passing on June 14, 2021. June dedicated her life to being a homemaker and was most proud of raising their three daughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bradford, her sister Barbara Jean Gibson, and her son-in-law Mike Anderson.

June is survived by her daughters: Linda Anderson of Carthage, Missouri; Brenda Brummett and husband Robert of Liberal, Missouri; and Penny Henson and husband Doug of Joplin, Missouri. She is also remembered by her siblings Elmer Holloway Jr., Alvin Holloway, Keith Holloway, Shirley Almandinger, Rose Marie Bellamy, and her sister-in-law Shirley Woolsey. She was a cherished grandmother to Brandy Weston, Gary Simmons, Corey Henson, Donny Henson, Nikki Jones, and Josh Brummett. She leaves behind great-grandchildren Jordan, Kade, Kyndall, Aden, Ava, Brodie, Sebastian, Avylin, Braxten, Tadem, Jerzzie, and Kannon; as well as great-great-grandchildren Ameri and Silas. She will also be lovingly remembered by many extended family members and friends.

June will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her steadfast faith, and the love and warmth she brought into the lives of those around her.

A memorial service has been scheduled for 2:00 pm on Friday, October 17 at Mason-Woodard Chapel. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service.
