Justene DeAnne Womack
September 28, 1992 - February 16, 2025
Justene DeAnne Womack, age 32 of Joplin, Missouri, passed away with family by her side on Sunday, February 16, 2025 following a courageous battle with cancer. Justene was born September 28, 1992 in Joplin to Marcia Gowing and Mark Fowler.
Justene grew up her entire life in the Joplin area attended church as a young kid at Faith Assembly of God. She later attended Forrest Park Church where she was active in different ministries. Before her health declined, Justene worked for several different businesses in the area, mainly as a customer assistant with sales.
Her pride and joy were her three beautiful children, George, Gabriel and Genevieve Womack. Additionally, Justene is survived by her parents, Mark Fowler and Marcia Gowing, both of the Joplin area; Granna, Marquetta Gowing of Carl Junction; cousins, AshLee Aldridge and husband, Doug of Carthage and Allyssa Herrera and husband, Yael of Webb City, numerous friends that will cherish and miss her greatly.
Justene was preceded in death by her grandfather, John Gowing.
A memorial visitation is planned for Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary in Joplin, Missouri.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
